Pride goeth before the fall? It's sad that so many still try to justify and continue de facto apartheid of brown-skinned Mexicans under euphemistic and legalistic talk, when the fact that Mexico's govt. is so corrupt that it's virtually a criminal enterprise is left unmentioned and unaddressed. Mexico has always been dependent on the U.S., and now that its pop. has grown too large to manage, and the govt. is only for the rich to stomp the poor, there is no other place for them to go, so labeling them and hiding behind laws meant for real aliens from overseas is counterproductive. Unlike overseas aliens, Mexicans have something to trade for U.S. citizenship, namely a giant chunk of New World territory, and it's time the U.S. swallowed its pride and worked to annex Mexico in a phased manner with the support of the U.S. military and Marshall Plan type aid to pave the way towards creation of new U.S. states, gaining 760K sq. mi. of new territory and 100 million new citizens while allowing passport-free movement among all 60 states that will turn old Mexico into vibrant new economic zones and defuse the simmering time bomb. The alternatives of doing nothing include takeover of the Mexican govt. by organized crime completely, or worse, a new Mexican Castro or Chavez that becomes a bitter enemy of the U.S. and invites its worst enemies to move in and set up shop along the 2K-mi. border.
