Obama again promotes 'comprehensive' immigration bill -- so what now?
The Arizona "papers please" law is doomed to become an expensive grudge-making merry-go-round since even if it locks up 100% of Mexican border-crossers, they will have to later be released to the feds and likely end up crossing again because the 2K-mi. border is unsealable. Protests against it are misguided since instead they should be protesting the real problem, the incurably corrupt Mexican govt. that destroys opportunity to keep the rich on top of the poor, forcing them over the border despite all obstacles seeking a fairer shake. Any realistic solution must start with dissolving that govt. Try my bipartisan Megamerge Dissolution Solution of Congress working with the Mexican people over the head of the Mexican govt. if necessary to dissolve it in favor of forming several new U.S. state govts., after which vibrant new economic zones, a New California, New Arizona, etc. can be created for all 414 million Americans to chase their Great American Dream.
