The real problem with talking about "immigration" like an abstract concept is the reality of our next-door neighbor Mexico, whose totally corrupt govt. seems like an invisible elephant in the debate. There will never be any way to seal the U.S.-Mexico border, so let's get real and talk about finally accepting the Mexican people as fellow citizens in a bigger better U.S. by reorganizing Mexico's territory as several new U.S. states after they vote to dissolve their country and govt.
