Latino vote in 2012 may hinge on whether Dems can pass immigration reform By Allison Sherry The Denver Post
Sherry makes it sounds like the Mexicans are a bloc vote that works to get their own into the U.S. and turn them into voters, who will vote the rest in later, like the way HIV causes AIDS. This mentality, well-meaning or not, is counter-productive. Instead let's think big, and look over the border to the source of the problem, the failed dependent state of Mexico. Instead of thinking of the border as a unidirectional invasion, why not consider expanding it to the Mexican coasts after incorporating Mexico as a new U.S. sector in a phased manner, allowing the pop. to freely mix and leading to a new generation that only knows one country? It's only a matter of finding the will with a bipartisan Congress, then finding the way. Learn about my Megamerge Dissolution Solution at http://go.to/megamerge
