You call this immigration reform? After November, real movement seemed inevitable. Four months later, D.C.'s having the same old debate from 2007

  1. There's one very good reason that the immigration issue is going nowhere.

    ME.

Since 2009 I've been proclaiming the only true permanent solution to the US-Mexico problem, the MEGAMERGE DISSOLUTION SOLUTION. Yet despite 100K views including by the White House, Congress, State Dept., DHS, Mexican govt., and major corporations, no major news org. has even mentioned it, preferring to publish a blizzard of drivel about one false solution after another being dishonestly put on the table by both major parties for temporary political advantage.

The party heads themselves have viewed it, yet they won't mention it either. So no wonder the phony debate about non-solutions cycles around like a whirpool of muck.

So one more time: IT'S TIME TO ANNEX MEXICO AS 10 NEW STATES AND MAKE IT WORK by chucking outdated racism, language supremacy, and other prejudices so all 400+ million Americans can finally share the New World on the same team and seize the future. Once that's done, immigration from overseas can finally be handled intelligently by a unified 60-state United States of America. Despite a minority of loud racists and supremacists, the great majority of decent people in both parties will back a phased megamerge. It only remains to invite the Mexican people, and for them to accept via referendum.

Here's my blog laying out the plan:
