This whole subject of immigration and reform and amnesty is moose hockey until the US-Mexico issue is separated out and dealth with. Only I have been laying out the 7-step bipartisan plan to turn a weakness into a strength with the MEGAMERGE DISSOLUTION SOLUTION of incorporating Mexico into the U.S. as 10 new states, expanding the border to the Mexican coasts and relying on bilateral migration to heal all wounds via freedom.
When will the two major parties quit ostriching and finally unite on this one solution so we can get it behind us? A 60-state U.S. with seabound borders will be far better able to handle immigration from overseas, and the new immigrants will have 10 new states to choose to move to - pure win-win.
