Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer tells Obama to quit joking about immigration crisis
It might be popular to arrest all Mexican border-crossers, deport them, then seal the border, but the problem is that the 2K-mi. U.S.-Mexico border is unsealable. How many soldiers per mi. would it take? 10? 100? Do the math, including a multiplying factor for 3 shifts a day plus logistical and administrative support. That many soldiers would have to man the border forever, leading to a national draft, draining the country's resources and military readiness. Meanwhile the real problem, the incurably corrupt Mexican govt. that rides the rich on the backs of the poor continues untouched, driving them back over despite all obstacles in search of a fairer shake. One day that sealed border will explode after a Mexican Castro invites our worst enemies in to set up bases and nukes, and starts sending armed guerrillas over the border, not to work and chase the Great American Dream, but to pillage and destroy a bitter enemy like the Huns did to ancient Rome.
So, any real solution requires the Mexican govt. to be dissolved and a political solution to be found for all 414 million Americans to share the New World in peace and prosperity sans racism.
