Calderón pleads with U.S. Congress to help stanch flow of guns to Mexico
Giving the corrupt Mexican govt. U.S. money to fight anything will only line its officials' pockets while making the problem fester even worse. Instead of continuing with the failed state of Mexico, the U.S. needs to lead the way to a 1-state solution starting by working with Mexico's good people to dissolve their govt. in favor of U.S. statehood and citizenship, creating a New California, New Arizona, New Texas, New Florida, etc., which will be incorporated under the U.S. Constitution and no doubt soon exert states' rights to make sure everybody has a gun, as long as it's under the U.S. flag.
