No matter how unempathetic Americans get over our next-door neighbors in Mexico, they're here to stay and share the New World with us. The only question is how. The U.S.-Mexico border is just a political line in a map, and politics can make it go poof, expanding it to the Mexican coast after we finally accept Mexicans as fellow citizens in exchange for turning their territory over for several new U.S. states, a New California, New Florida etc., which can become vibrant new economic zones.
