Sorry, but the 2K-mi. U.S.-Mexico border can never be secured, so the rest of your solution is kaput. For decades both major parties have been squirrel-caging with non-solutions, and nothing has changed. Republican-backed Arizona "papers please" laws are no solution to the U.S.-Mexico border problem, because even if 100% of illegal Mexican immigants are locked up, then what? They will eventually have to be handed over to the feds, after which they will be released and end up back in the U.S. since the border is unsealable. Hence it's only an expensive merry-go-round and grudge-maker. The Democratic approach of general amnesty is equally blind because the border is still unsealable. Where do both parties go wrong? In focusing on the little mice while ignoring the elephant, the incurably corrupt Mexican govt. that has created the conditions driving them over the border regardless of obstacles faced. To solve the problem, we have to dissolve that govt. forever and extend our Constitution and Bill of Rights to Mexico in the form of 10+ new states, expanding the border to the oceans where it can finally be effectively controlled. A 414-million 60+ state U.S. will become a model to the world. Learn about the Megamerge Dissolution Solution by Googling it.
