While "securing" the 2K-mi. U.S. border might be politically popular, so are Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Do the math: 1,961 mi., 10-100 soldiers per mi., 24/7/365 means multiply by 3 for 3 shifts a day, plus logistics, administration and support. A national draft is never politically popular, much an endless one.

And what is the great Hun threat? Poor hardworking Mexicans looking for a job, plus a percentage of hard core criminals caused by America's thirst for drugs.

The real threat has always been on the other side, the incurably corrupt Mexican govt. that exploits the poor for the rich and has sweetheart deals with the U.S. establishment to keep it the Invisible Elephant in the Room. There can be no permanent solution of the U.S.-Mexico border problem until that govt. is dissolved. What interest does the Republican Party have in keeping that govt. going?

Find out about the Megamerge Dissolution Solution that shows how it can be done with a bipartisan effort after the American people unite behind it to create a new border that really can be secured.
