Our Founders' Solutions for Illegal Immigration by Chuck Norris
George Washington wrote, "By an intermixture with our people, they, or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws: in a word soon become one people."
Yes, he meant one white Christian English-speaking people, and was talking about Dutch, Germans, French and other northern Euros like him. Sorry, but that kind of village racism and white supremacy is kaput in the 21st century, and should form no part of the debate on immigration. If we don't want the U.S. to become history it's time to get real and rise above racism and decide what's really worth preserving, namely, the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
"Key criteria for citizenship of the Naturalization Act of 1795... (3) the taking of a formal oath to support the Constitution and to renounce any foreign allegiance."
So the real issue with Mexico and Mexicans is whether they can be persuaded to dissolve their incurably corrupt govt. that festers and creates the endless waves of border-crossers in the first place, renounce allegiance to it and accept the Constitution, becoming full citizens in exchange for incorporation of their territory as several new U.S. states, after which I'm sure it won't take long for us to merge and become one people, albeit with two languages, but one superculture, and the melting pot will do its work.
