  1. The Democrats had their fantasy of Camelot, the Republicans have their fantasy that they can erect a 2K-mi. Berlin Wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and that it will seal it off effectively. Sorry, but even if it could be done it would bleed the country dry, and foment instability in Mexico likely leading to a new Mexican Castro who invites our worst enemies to move in behind the wall and set up shop. All these mistakes have already been made in the New World, so why repeat them in the Old World? Is it the good Mexican people the Republicans fear, and why? Or are they ready to see that it's the totally corrupt Mexican govt. that is the real eyesore, creating all the problems that the border relieves the pressure on? See how the Mexican govt. and border can be made to go poof via bipartisan congressional effort, allowing Mexico's territory to be reorganized as several new U.S. states, turning Arizona from the Berlin Wall to the Gateway to New Arizona, etc. http://go.to/megamerge
