If the Republican Party wants to survive, it has to chuck its age-old support of de facto apartheid of Mexicans and instead accept that we are all here to stay and need to share the New World in peace and prosperity. If they want an issue, the elephant in the room is the totally corrupt Mexican govt. that stinks up the hemisphere and yet tries to avoid exposure with sweetheart deals with the U.S. establishment. The RP needs to unite and work to dissolve that govt. by reaching out to the Mexican people to reorganize their territory as several new U.S. states so they can share in the Great American Dream, after which I'm sure they will get their share of registrations despite everything the Democrats can do.
