When it comes to Mexico, the U.S. has to eventually face the fact that neither it nor Mexicans are going away, and that neither "papers please" laws nor complete border closures are ever going to work. The U.S. is far from powerless, however, since it has the power to work with the Mexican people to dissolve the #1 problem, namely, the totally corrupt Mexican govt., in favor of statehood and citizenship, allowing a New California, New Arizona, New Texas, New Florida etc. to be organized, creating vibrant new zones generating millions of new jobs for all 414 million Americans.
