Lawmakers across country taking immigration policy into own hands
No state or federal papers-please law has any chance of solving the U.S.-Mexico border problem, because the border is unsealable, and once caught, the border-crossers will eventually have to be released, after which they will likely later recross. Neither will a "path to citizenship" for current border-crossers solve the problem, because the real problem is on the other side of the border, namely, the totally corrupt Mexican govt. and retro Mexican constitution that keep Mexico backward and undeveloped and breed the conditions of poverty, injustice and crime that force millions over the border regardless of obstacles. When will the major parties wake up and unite behind my nonracist Megamerge Dissolution Solution of finally accepting all the Mexican people as U.S. citizens in a phased manner after they agree via referendum to dissolve their failed country and reorganize their territory as several new U.S. states, allowing vibrant new economic zones to be created along with millions of jobs for all?
