People like Malkin think they're "legal" because they came from overseas to New York harbor etc. When it comes to our next-door neighbors in Mexico, they're already here in the New World and just have to jump a fence, big difference. Hence any attempt to equate them with overseas immigrants or even handle them in the same system is doomed. Instead of clinging to the fantasy that the unsealable U.S.-Mexico border is sealable, or that what's on the other side doesn't matter, why not open up to the idea of reorganizing Mexico's territory as several new U.S. states?
