Why strengthening the U.S.-Mexican border leads to more illegal immigration by Peter Schrag
The U.S.-Mexico border has never been a solution to anything except white supremacy and de facto apartheid of brown-skinned Mexicans to exclude them from the American electorate, hence it's based on evil and will always be evil. The reason the border becomes more unsealable the more the U.S. tries to seal it is because Mexico itself is a failed country and people will do anything to get out. If given the choice the majority of the Mexican people would likely vote to dissolve their failed dependent country and totally corrupt govt. in favor of reorganization of their territory as a new U.S. sector along with U.S. citizenship, just like Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and until the two major parties are willing to unite on this the border will not always be unsealable, but what's on the other side will become a festering time-bomb threatening to blow up in their faces. No matter what party you're for, take time to study my 7-step Megamerge Dissolution Solution showing how it can all be done by a bipartisan Congress in just years. The U.S. only has to give up white supremacy and the requirement of speaking English, and accept an officially bilingual nation, which shouldn't be hard since it's already that way de facto.
