Canada and Mexico, AWOL in the SOTU -- Look to NAFTA As a Model For Jobs and Growth, Not NATO
It's sad to see that with the US-Mexico problem all sides are still stuck on stupid.
First, the US-Mexico border will never be 'sealed'. Two, Mexicans are in the New World to stay, as is Spanish. Three, the border for two centuries has been little more than a symbol of de facto apartheid, and is now not only an eyesore and disgrace, but is like a tourniquet on a leg, festering worse each year. Both major parties offer only temporary relief against pus, and never mention that the tourniquet should be removed.
Repat, there is no intention by either major party to SOLVE the US-Mexico problem, because there is only ONE SOLUTION, namely, incorporate Mexico into the U.S. as 10 new states, erase the border, and let mass 2-way migration bring freedom and free market solutions to the 10 new states to bring its development up to the other 50. Not only will the 60-state U.S. be far stronger socially, politically, and economically, but it will finally become a world island that will be far more defensible against military invasion, not to mention illegal immigration from other continents.
What's stopping the true solution? Sick misguided white supremacy and English supremacy. The rest is b.s. A bipartisan Congress can get the ball rolling and phase-in the solution in years. Read more about it in my Megamerge Dissolution Solution Blog.
