  1. My reply:

Yes, as long as the US-Mexico border is viewed as unidirectional, all the downers are on the U.S. side. Meanwhile the ever-corrupt Mexican govt. remains a sacred cow to Congress, whose stuck-on-stupid immigration reforms leave 100+ million Mexicans out in the cold under its hydra-like control. Duh, what will happen in 5, 10, 15, 20 years? Deja vu. That's what I mean by stuck on stupid.

Wanna be smart? When will Congress and the American people wake up and admit that the only permanent solution is to invite the Mexican people on both sides of the border to dissolve their failed state and reorganize as 10 new U.S. states, allowing mass bidirectional migration, bringing an economic boom to the new states that solves all the problems on both sides? For years I have been the lone voice crying in the wilderness about the bipartisan MEGAMERGE DISSOLUTION SOLUTION, which is explained in detail in my Megamerge Dissolution Solution Blog, but has been roundly ignored in favor of the non-solutions wasting Congress' time and money, which are really about the Democrats and Republicans jockeying for temporary gain. Let's hope the situation will change, people will take the broad historical view that a historical mistake needs corrected, and the future will be a 60-state U.S. of 400+ million happy prosperous Americans that can take on the world.
