Wolf at the door: Immigrant rights issue follows lawmakers home
I don't know about illegals from other continents, but it would be great to give Mexican border-crossers U.S citizenship, in return for their vote to annex Mexico to the U.S. as 10 new states. The Congress should offer this bargain to all Mexicans, while working to lay the legal groundwork for annexation including funding and legislation as needed. A 60-state U.S. is the true just permanent solution to this endless problem, one that corrects a 150-year-old historical mistake and gives all 400+ million of us a new birth of freedom that would be as historic as the Civil War. Pres. Obama needs to step forward as the new Abraham Lincoln who unites both parties behind this goal of ending all old wounds and extending the U.S. flag and Constitution to the Mexican coasts by ending kaput white supremacy and English supremacy and welcoming our fellow Americans to share the New World with us in peace and prosperity as equal citizens.
Once the butt of jokes, the idea of a bigger better happier U.S. rocks. Once the old US-Mexico border is dissolved and the two nations are megamerged under the U.S. Constitution, with the horrible corrupt Mexican govt. dissolved along with the sick fascist Mexican constitution, all of us will be on the same team working to achieve the Great American Dream. Mass migration will finally work both ways, and the new states will experience a historic economic boom as they are developed to the same level as the other 50. The coasts can become a New California and New Florida, and the former Brownsville Wall states of Texas and Arizona, which have stunk themselves up so much lately, can become gateway states to New Texas and New Arizona. A new generation will be born who knows only one country, and learn about the horrible unjust US-Mexico border only in history class.
I am currently the only one with a bipartisan plan on the table, and am like the lone voice crying in the wilderness sans funding while millions and billions are being spent by both parties on non-solutions that are just designed to win votes in the next election while failing their responsibility to their own grandchildren. If the Mexican people can find it in their hearts to forgive us for all our past mistakes and agree to reset our relations, the right thing for our grandchildren, the rest would be easy.
