High rate of approval for ‘dreamers’ vexes critics of immigration reform Applications delayed for legal immigrants
White American xenophoboes who don't mind white Canadians moving on in would love to see the US-Mexico White-Brown Border totally sealed by 2K-mi. of shoulder-to-shoulder army troops. Too bad, that would be so expensive it would bleed the U.S. er, white, not to mention that many U.S. businesses need Mexicans to labor for them to keep afloat. Mexico is an ally of the U.S., and Mexicans have never had a problem mixing into the American body politic, albeit they inhabit the lower strata, but there's no sign they want to overthrow the U.S. in favor of a Commie republic, indeed, many have fought for our armed forces with bravery. Meanwhile failed backward Mexico remains a huge festering eyesore, gigantic amounts of undeveloped land in sight of the border, which spews its worst elements over the lawless unsealable border. The answer all along is to annex Mexico as 10 new states after a plebiscite of the Mexican people on both sides, and open the new states up to southward migration under the U.S. flag, creating an economic boom benefitting all 400+ million Americans. The old border will be gone forever, and replaced with gateway states to New California, New Texas, New Florida etc. The megamerge can be phased-in over 20 or so years, that's a detail, but the net result is an end to a 200-year problem that's holding the whole continent back.
