Yes, Mexican immigrants are heroes for not giving up on the American Dream and turning into organized criminals, guerrillas or terrorists and just taking what they want, like the Huns. Too bad, many Americans insist on treating them like the Huns rather than as our decent next-door neighbors that will always share the New World with us. The only question is how, and to cut to the chase it's time the U.S. quit obsessing over all the little mice and noticed the elephant, the incurably corrupt Mexican govt. that keeps the masses down so the rich can get richer, causing them to cross the border by the millions to our Emerald City no matter how difficult the obstacles. As Mexico fails as a country while the U.S. needs a better more defensible border against world terrorism, why not marry our next-door neighbor by incorporating it into the U.S. as several new states? We could do it by military force, but why not try my solution of a bipartisan Congress inviting the Mexican people to dissolve their govt. and form the states voluntarily in exchange for full citizenship? After Marshall Plan type aid creates the needed infrastructure, mass southward migration will create several new vibrant economic zones, along with millions of new jobs for all 414 million Americans, a win-win ending.
